The Spirit of ’76 Echelon… A Tribute to the Long Blue Line
The Class of 1976 Giving Committee has decided to support “The Spirit of ’76 Echelon… A Tribute to the Long Blue Line” for the 50th reunion project. This project is envisioned to provide propeller blades and bronze plaques representing each graduating class with their class crest, a brief narrative, and a digital kiosk with the names of graduates. Residual funds not used for the Echelon tribute will endow the AOG’s Next-of-Kin needs in perpetuity. The Gone But Not Forgotten Endowment will support the deceased graduate's family needs, including costs associated with dependent children's higher education needs; lodging for a spouse and children to attend memorial/burial services at the USAFA recognizing their fallen graduate; and surviving spouse needs to participate in major class reunions.
