The Squadron Improvement Fund is vital to cadet morale and provides opportunities without having to wait on the long approval process through upper leadership. Donations to the Squadron Improvement Fund provide each squadron with money for activity room improvements (TVs, furniture, microwaves, etc.), award showcases, CQ desk upgrades, and various display cases, football tailgate items, BBQ grills, and other similar projects that will benefit and increase morale for all members of the squadron. Each individual squadron receives funding to support their cadets in the best way possible, but funds support multiple areas at USAFA - Academic Excellence, Character Development, Airmanship, and Institutional Advancement and Support.
