About

The Air Force Academy is planning a full-scale display to honor the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen, featuring models of a Tuskegee Airmen P-51 Mustang and the new T-7 Red Hawk jet trainer at Davis Airfield. Donations toward this memorial will support the acquisition of models, historical markers, and site preparation. Additionally, the memorial, situated adjacent to the entry of Davis Airfield, will feature interpretative exhibits that delve into the history of the first African American U.S. military pilots, adding a rich narrative to this commemorative space.
