Taekwondo Cadet Club

The Cadet Taekwondo Club at the United States Air Force Academy provides cadets with the opportunity to train in the traditional Korean martial art of Taekwondo, emphasizing discipline, respect, and physical fitness. The club welcomes members of all skill levels—from beginners to experienced practitioners—and focuses on developing self-defense techniques, sparring skills, and forms (poomsae).

Training sessions promote mental resilience, confidence, and leadership while fostering camaraderie among cadets. Members have the chance to earn belt promotions, participate in demonstrations, and compete in local and national tournaments. The club operates under the Academy’s mission to build warrior ethos and character development through rigorous physical and mental challenges.

Every $300 donated pays for a cadet (in desperate need) to travel to a Taekwondo competition.
