USAFA Jewish Chapel Endowment

The Air Force Academy Association & Foundation is working to establish a Jewish Chapel Endowment Fund. Once matured, the fund will provide 4% annually in usable gift funds for the Jewish Chaplain to directly support cadet programs. This endowment will ensure sustained support for critical spiritual-enhancing programs not covered by appropriated funds, such as the Jewish Worship Choir, SPIRE educational and fellowship activities, Jewish Warrior Weekend, spiritual and lay leader retreats, and travel experiences to Israel. Currently, Jewish Chapel programs rely on minimal annual donations, creating financial challenges and limiting opportunities for cadets. Establishing this endowment would resolve those struggles, bring USAFA on par with the robust Jewish programming already available at West Point and the Naval Academy, and strengthen recruitment while enhancing cadet spiritual fitness and leadership development.
