The Class of 1976 is supporting “The Spirit of ’76 Echelon … A Tribute to the Long Blue Line” for our 50th reunion project. This project will add a meaningful display on the Heritage Trail, featuring propeller blades and bronze plaques for each graduating class, each with its class crest, a brief narrative and a welcome kiosk listing ’76 classmates’ names
Additional funds not used for the echelon will endow the Association & Foundation’s next-of-kin services in perpetuity. The Gone But Not Forgotten Endowment will support the family needs of deceased graduates, including costs associated with dependent children's higher education; lodging for a spouse and children to attend memorial/burial services at USAFA recognizing their fallen graduate; and needs associated with the surviving spouse’s continued participation in major class reunions.
