The Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation and the U.S. Air Force Academy Association & Foundation have launched a fundraising initiative to recognize former head football coach Fisher DeBerry. The Fisher DeBerry Football Excellence Endowment will provide margin of excellence resources to address Air Force football’s most strategic initiatives, while honoring the legacy and impact of Coach DeBerry’s leadership.
These initiatives include, but are not limited to:
- Recruiting
- Football coaching staff recruitment and retention
- Facilities enhancements
- Technology
- Sport performance
The goal of the Fisher DeBerry Football Excellence Endowment is to generate a minimum principal balance of $2.5 million to support annual operational expenses associated with the most critical programmatic needs of the Air Force football program. In addition, a statue of Coach DeBerry will be placed, in perpetuity, at Falcon Stadium.
